Hello Martin and Richard.
For all of us who have loved a dog and lost a dog, this is perfect. I too lost my Higgins after 17 years. I couldn't even think of a time without him. Shortly after he died I got Jack, who is now 5 but thinks he's still a puppy! I will never be without a dog. Thank you for this beautiful book about love shared between man and dog. Bless you, Mary

Dear Martin and Richard,
Such heartfelt sentiment - this is a lovely book, one with a comforting message. The slideshow and music were truly touching. How fortunate you were to have had Buster in your lives for twelve years.
Have you any scheduled appearances in the near future?
Best wishes,
Dove

Dear Martin & Richard,
I just accidentally stumbled upon your book on the internet & can hardly wait to get a copy for my son & grandog, Jax & a copy for the elementary school library I work in. I was able to find a video of Richard reading the book in it's entirity. It is a beautiful book with such an important & timely message of love. It's a message that needs to be sounded each & every day to both children & adults.basis. What an uplifting story!!!!!
There will never be another one quite like Buster but I pray that in time you find another dog to love & I'm pretty sure you will. You are blessed to have alot of love to give!!!!!
I was recently in LA & was fortunate enough to see Richard in the Philharmonic store. I apologize for being so flustered that I forgot to tell him how much I was touched by his book, Shattered Love. I've also seen some of his beautiful artwork. And now, this book. You make a great team & I hope there's more to come!
God bless both of you.
Sincerely,
Martha

Hello Martin and Richard, greetings to you both from Edinburgh, Scotland I have to say I love this website it is so bright and cheerful I am feeling rather sad and depressed right now because last month my little kitten of 11 months go out of my garden and wondered up to the main road about 5 mins walk away and sadly died (he was run over) so I am now in the process of trying to find another cat. Coming to this website and seeing these wonderful pictures and reading your wonderful memories cheered me up thank you.
Keep up the excellent work
Love,
Theresa Brown
