Dear Martin and Richard,

Such heartfelt sentiment - this is a lovely book, one with a comforting message. The slideshow and music were truly touching. How fortunate you were to have had Buster in your lives for twelve years.

Have you any scheduled appearances in the near future?

Best wishes,

Dove

Dear Martin & Richard,
I just accidentally stumbled upon your book on the internet & can hardly wait to get a copy for my son & grandog, Jax & a copy for the elementary school library I work in. I was able to find a video of Richard reading the book in it's entirity. It is a beautiful book with such an important & timely message of love. It's a message that needs to be sounded each & every day to both children & adults.basis. What an uplifting story!!!!!
There will never be another one quite like Buster but I pray that in time you find another dog to love & I'm pretty sure you will. You are blessed to have alot of love to give!!!!!
I was recently in LA & was fortunate enough to see Richard in the Philharmonic store. I apologize for being so flustered that I forgot to tell him how much I was touched by his book, Shattered Love. I've also seen some of his beautiful artwork. And now, this book. You make a great team & I hope there's more to come!
God bless both of you.
Sincerely,
Martha

Hello Martin and Richard, greetings to you both from Edinburgh, Scotland I have to say I love this website it is so bright and cheerful I am feeling rather sad and depressed right now because last month my little kitten of 11 months go out of my garden and wondered up to the main road about 5 mins walk away and sadly died (he was run over) so I am now in the process of trying to find another cat. Coming to this website and seeing these wonderful pictures and reading your wonderful memories cheered me up thank you.

Keep up the excellent work
Love,

Dearest Martin and Richard
I did not know of your book about Buster until today.
I am so sorry for your loss of Buster. I lost the love of my life, my soulmate, 7 months ago. Her name was Brittany. She was killed by another dog I rescued. I think it was accidental. Life for me has changed so much. Without Brittany, my life will never be the same.
Hopefully, Buster and Brittany will meet over the rainbow bridge with all the other wonderful furbababies.
Buster seems very spirtual by just looking at him.
But then again he would have to be, or he wouldn't have pick you both for his parents.
Love to all three of you.

Here is the story of the Rainbow Bridge.

Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

As a fellow human who has shared my life with several dogs throughout the years and lost them all too soon for no length of life is ever long enough in relation to those who are left, I can relate to the sentiment of your book. I look forward to purchasing and reading it as soon as possible. Martin, if you haven't already read it, use a search engine to locate "The Rainbow Bridge". It's a poem about what it might be like when we meet our 4 legged forever friends again, and I have found comfort in the words.
Sincerely,
Beth

Hello,

I came upon this book by chance and ordered it. My daughter is a PHD student in Honolulu now and I helped her get her black Lab 'Magic' to Hawaii three and 1/2 years ago. Throughout the years my family has had Labs. When I was eighteen my Father let me pick a puppy from a litter his Lab 'Roc' had sired. That lab, 'Czar' lived to be sixteen and was with me everywhere.

I loved this website, the photos and I know I will love the book!

Dearest Martin and Richard,

What a lovely site. I unfortunately missed your book signing in San Francisco, but I hope you will visit the Los Angeles area soon. Thank you so very much for expressing your feelings about your beloved Buster. You have written a great book full of love and memories for children of all ages, and it has profoundly touched and inspired me. And Richard, I'm one of the many fans who fell in love with ‘Father Ralph’ when I saw you in the mini-series Thorn Birds. I was 13 at the time. Of course you still look better than ever! Your book Shattered Love was beautifully written. You are a remarkable and beautiful person. Your life is an incredible journey. I hope to meet you in the near future. I am a huge fan :)
Aloha Moani and Nohea! God Bless, and thank you for sharing your stories and experiences.

Love always,
Jennifer from Sierra Madre, CA

Dearest Martin and Richard,
The San Francisco book signing was an extraordinary event. Not only did it allow you to, once again, promote both Forever Buster and Shattered Love, but it proved how truly you both live up to what you feel and write. Both your books and your presence promote extremely positive, inspirational, and uplifting themes and experiences. Thank you for all the treasures!
Mary
